CORBIN YON AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP
COLUMBIA, SC….Corbin Yon, chaplain of the Ridge Spring-Monetta FFA Chapter, is the recipient of a $1000 scholarship from the SC Pork Board and Pork Producers, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.
Corbin was recognized for his superior knowledge of the pork industry and demonstrated showmanship ability. He was the Runner-Up Showman in the 2009 Junior Swine Show held at the SC State Fair in October 2009.
The presentation was made to Corbin by Chad Trusdale, executive director of the SC Pork Board and Producers at a ceremony at the State Fair.
