GILBERT FFA MEMBERS AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS
Six members of the Gilbert FFA Chapter were recently awarded college scholarships by the Gilbert Community Club for their outstanding volunteer service during the Lexington County Peach Festival, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.
Scholarship recipients included Kyle LeeVan, Jake Padgett, Nathan Price, Lindsey Pickle, Zach Lindler and Joshua Crout.
The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
