DRAKE YON AWARDED FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP
Columbia, SC…Drake Yon, vice president of the Ridge Spring-Monetta High School FFA Chapter, has been awarded a $1500 college scholarship by the SC Farm Bureau Federation, according to John W. Parris, state director of public with the SC FFA organization.
Drake was recognized for his superb knowledge of the swine industry and showmanship skills. He took first place honors in the Junior Swine Showmanship competition held at the State Fair in Columbia, SC, in October 2009.
