SC FFA OFFICER TO ATTEND NATIONAL AG DAY EVENT
IN WASHINGTON, DC
COLUMBIA, SC…State FFA Vice President Kelsey Bridges of Clover, SC, will join other agricultural and governmental leaders from throughout the nation in Washington, DC, March 17-18, for the National Ag Day Celebration, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.
While in Washington, Kelsey will participate in a meeting with US Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, attend an Ag Day Celebration Luncheon, visit the office of US Congressman John Spratt and enjoy a sight-seeing tour of the historic city.
The National Ag Day Celebration is under the leadership of the Agriculture Council of America and supported by a number of agricultural companies, organizations and individuals.
The theme of the celebration is: AGRICULTURE…Abundant…Affordable…Amazing!
