BRIDGES RECEIVES HOLBOOK FFA SCHOLARSHIP

CLOVER, SC…Kelsey Bridges, a 2010 graduate of Clover High School and recently retired state FFA vice president, is the recipient of the first K. Flint Holbrook FFA Agricultural Leadership Scholarship awarded through the Clover FFA Chapter, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization..

“The scholarship was established by the Holbrook family and friends in concert with the local FFA chapter in honor of K. Flint Holbrook, a 2009 graduate of Clover High School and state FFA president in 2008-09, to recognize outstanding FFA members who excel in FFA leadership and academic achievement while in high school,” Parris said. K. Flint Holbrook is the son of Flint and Beverly Holbrook of Clover.

Kelsey will attend Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton in the fall in preparation to transfer to Clemson University to major in Agriculture.

Carrie C. Bolin, Agricultural Education instructor at Clover High School, is Kelsey’s FFA advisor.
