KEOWN NAMED TEACHER OF THE YEAR AT CRESCENT

IVA, SC….Tim Keown, Agricultural Education instructor at Crescent High School, was recently selected and recognized as Teacher of the Year at the school, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.

Keown has previously been recognized by WYFF-TV in Greenville, SC, with the Golden Apple Award. He has also been selected as the Outstanding Young Agricultural Educator in the Piedmont Region of South Carolina and is in competition for the state award which will be announced at Clemson in July.

A graduate of Clemson University with a BS and Master’s degree in Agricultural Education, Keown is in his second year in the Education Leadership Doctoral Program at Clemson.
