MULLIKIN TO COMPETE IN NATIONAL FFA FINALS
CLEMSON, SC…McKenzie Mullikin, a rising senior at Pendleton High School and president of the FFA Chapter, will represent South Carolina in the Prepared Public Speaking Finals held during the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana in October, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.
“McKenzie took first place honors in the state finals during the SC FFA convention at Clemson this summer.” Mr. Parris said. “She was awarded an expense-paid trip to the National FFA Convention by the SC Young Farmer and Agribusiness Association to participate in the National FFA Public Speaking Finals,” he added.
McKenzie is the daughter of Jerry and Mary Ellen Mullikin of Pendleton. Her public speaking coach is FFA Advisor Blake Berry, an Agricultural Education instructor at Pendleton High School.
