DOBBINS NAMED FARM BUREAU YOUTH AMBASSADOR
COLUMBIA, SC….State FFA Secretary Troy Dobbins, a senior at Pendleton High School, was recently named Youth Ambassador for the Anderson County Farm Bureau, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization.
“ Troy was awarded a $1000 college scholarship and an expense-paid trip to Myrtle Beach where he will compete for the South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation Youth Ambassador title later this year,” Mr. Parris said.
The son of Dr, Tom Dobbins, Agricultural Education Program Coordinator at Clemson University, and Kathy Dobbins of Townville, Troy’s FFA advisors are Blake Berry and Josh Murdock, Agricultural Educators at Pendleton High School.
