TOLSON NAMED STATE FFA AGRICULTURAL STAR
CLEMSON, SC…Rose Tolson, a 2010 graduate of Chesterfield High School, was recently named State Star in Agricultural Placement by the SC FFA Association during a special ceremony at Clemson University.
Rose received an engraved plaque and a check for $1200 from the SC FFA Foundation to defray expenses for her and her FFA advisor to attend the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, later this year.
A landscape assistant for Tolson Enterprises, Rose is responsible for arbiculture, landscape design, implementation and maintenance as well as equipment operation.
An active member and president of the Chesterfield FFA Chapter, Rose’s FFA advisor is Gerald Hargett, Agricultural Education instructor at Chesterfield High School.
