Former State FFA Star Farmer….

SALLY YON FEATURED IN CLEMSON GAMEDAY PROGRAM

COLUMBIA, SC…Former State FFA Star Farmer Sally Yon, a sophomore at Clemson University majoring in Agricultural Education, was featured in the September 11, 2010, issue of the attractive and informative Clemson GameDay Program, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs for the SC FFA organization..

Sally, one of the outstanding student leaders on the Clemson University campus, was spotlighted in a full page advertisement in the program to introduce a fund raising effort known as A WILL TO LEAD…A CAMPAIGN FOR CLEMSON with a goal of $600 million to support Clemson students and faculty by 2012. A brief article in the Ad mentioned that Sally’s love of Agriculture and young people has brought her both national recognition and scholarship support. The article emphasized that her expertise in Agriculture has taken her to the top of her field and given her opportunities to participate in industry conferences across the country.

A resident of Ridge Spring, SC, Sally is the daughter of Kevin and Lydia Yon, owners of one of the top Angus beef cattle herds in the nation.
