CLEMSON AG TAILGATE EVENT TO INCLUDE YOUTH DAY
CLEMSON, SC….The Clemson University College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences invites FFA members and advisors to attend the College’s Youth Day event held in conjunction with Alumni Tailgate in Fike Field House on Saturday, October 16. The event will get under way three hours before kick-off of the Clemson-Maryland football game.
The cost for participation in the event is $40 and includes a ticket to the football game, a tailgate ticket, a chicken sandwich meal, and an Ag-Awareness T-shirt. See details for pre-registration on the attached links.
The annual event is a special project of Clemson University’s College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences Alumni Board of Directors. Agricultural Education and FFA representation on the national board include Mindy Sandifer, Agricultural Education instructor at Barnwell County Career Center, Pat Black, Agricultural Education instructor at Branchville High School, and John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the SC FFA organization. Mrs. Sandifer is presently serving as secretary to the board and Mr. Black and Mr. Parris are charter members and past chairmen of the board.
