HAYNES FEATURED IN NATIONAL FFA PUBLICATION

Michael Haynes, agricultural science instructor and FFA advisor at Manning High School, was featured in the January 2011 issue of the National FFA Publication “Making a Difference”. Mr. Haynes discussed his success in “Engaging Non-traditional Students in the FFA” which has contributed to Manning being recognized as the largest FFA chapter in South Carolina and one of the largest in the nation.

The Manning FFA Chapter, under the leadership of Mr. Haynes, continues to be named recipient of the Governor’s Citation of Accomplishment year after year as a result of a quality program that is making a positive difference in the lives of students enrolled in agricultural science classes.

The national FFA publication “Making a Difference” is an informational resource designed to share ideas for improving teaching skills that will inspire students in their quest for success in educational pursuits and career choices.
