John  W. Parris (left),  State  Director  of  Public  Affairs  for   the   SC  Young  Farmer  and  Agribusiness  Association,  was   presented   a   framed  copy  of  the  official   painting  for  the   2004   Pageland  Watermelon  Festival .  The  presentation   was   made  by   Ashli  Young,  an   Agricultural  Education  Teacher   at    Central  High  School  and  one  of  the  Advisors  to  the  Central  Young  Farmer  and  Agribusiness  Chapter.    Parris  attended   a  recent  meeting  of  the  local  agriculturalists  which  was  highlighted  by  a  special  presentation  by     Chad  “Cracker” Johnson,  Regional  Sales  Manager  eMERGE,   a    prominent  animal  industry  tracking   company   headquartered  in  Chiefland, Florida.
