NANCE IS VICE PRESIDENT OF SC YOUNG FARMER-AGRIBUSINESS GROUP
COLUMBIA, SC…Michael Nance of McConnells, SC, has been re-elected Vice President of the SC Young Farmer and Agribusiness Association according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the organization. He was re-elected at the annual state conference of the association held in Hilton Head recently.
President of Nance Tractor and Implement, Inc., in McConnells, he is a 1999 graduate of Clemson University with a BS Degree in Agricultural Mechanization and Business.
Nance is a member of the Chester Young Farmer and Agribusiness Chapter. His advisor is Kip Beam, Agricultural Education Teacher at the Chester County Career Center.
“ The Young Farmer andAgribusiness organization is the primary Adult Agricultural Education Program of secondary schools under the direction of local agricultural educators”, Parris said. “The South Carolina Young Farmer and Agribusiness Association has one of the highest memberships of any state in the National Young Farmer Education Association”, he added.
