WILLIAMS ELECTED TO AGRICULTURAL LEADERSHIP POST

COLUMBIA, SC…Antron Williams of Rowesville was recently elected state vice president of the SC Young Farmer and Agribusiness Association representing the Lower State Region, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the organization. Mr. Williams is an active member of the Orangeburg Young Farmer and Agribusiness Chapter

As a result of Mr. Williams’ superb leadership, the Orangeburg Young Farmer and Agribusiness Chapter was recognized at an agricultural education conference in Myrtle Beach as the Outstanding Program in the state and received a cash award from the Southern States Agricultural Cooperative.

In other state recognition, Mr. Williams was named the Outstanding Chapter President in the Lower State Region and received a cash award from the Massey-Ferguson Company.

James Ulmer, Agricultural Education instructor at Lake Marion High School, serves as advisor to the local adult agricultural education organization.
