GREER MAN WINS STATE AGRICULTURAL AWARD
COLUMBIA, SC…Jason Wright of Greer, SC, was recently recognized for owning the Outstanding Farm Shop in South Carolina by the South Carolina Young Farmer and Agribusiness Association, according to John W. Parris, state director of public Affairs with the organization.
“Mr. Wright received an engraved plaque and a cash award from the Hammond Tools and Fasteners Company who sponsors the agricultural engineering-related recognition program in concert with the SC Young Farmer and Agribusiness organization,” Mr. Parris said. The award was presented at a state agricultural education conference in Charleston, SC.
A member of the Blue Ridge-Bonds Young Farmer and Agribusiness group, Mr. Wright’s advisors are his wife, Ms. Brenda Wright, Agricultural Education instructor at Blue Ridge High School, and Ms. Brittany White, Agricultural Education instructor at the J. Harley Bonds Career Center.
