Desiree Kinneer
State Vice President

Desiree is from Fort Mill, S.C. and is a member of the Indian Land FFA Chapter. She is the daughter of Robert and Sherri Kinneer. Paco is her pet, along with seven bunnies.

She enjoys being a member of FFA because she has learned skills that she feels will carry her through life. Her SAE was breeding rabbits. She feels that her three most important accomplishments were conquering her fear of public speaking, graduating with honors in the top ten of her class, and being very involved during her high school years. She wants her lasting contribution to the S.C. FFA Program to be serving the South Carolina FFA members and developing leaders for the future. She also wishes to share the opportunities that FFA provides today's youth with others.

Desiree says that the most valuable lesson that she has learned from her Agriculture teacher, Troy Helms, is if you push yourself and give it your all, you can do anything; but you must always put your heart into it.

Her favorite food is pizza. The last movie that she saw was Ghost Rider, but her favorite movies are Pride and Prejudice and The Notebook. If you picked up her iPod, you would find it filled with country, rock, rap and a little bit of everything. The last book that she read was The Invisible Man .

Desiree will attend Winthrop University this fall for two years of Pre-Nursing with future plans to transfer to Clemson University.
