Spencer McLeod
State President
Spencer is from McBee, S.C. and is a member of the McBee FFA Chapter. He is the son of Kemp and Gaie McLeod and has one brother and two sisters - Alec, Amanda, and Rachel. He also has two dogs - Rusty, a Golden Retriever and Lucy, a black Laborador Retriever.
He enjoys being a member of FFA because it gives him the opportunity to meet other members that love agriculture. His SAE was working on his family's peach farm as a Fruit Sales Manager. He feels that his most important accomplishments were earning the State FFA Star in Agribusiness and his SAT scores. He wants his lasting contribution to the S.C. FFA Program to be impacting FFA members to seek careers in agriculture.
Spencer says that the most valuable lesson that he has learned from his Agriculture teacher, Pat Earle, is to set goals.
His favorite type of food is Italian. The last movie that he saw was Pirates of the Carribean 3, which is his favorite movie . If you picked up Spencer's iPod, you would find it loaded with rock , acoustic, and soft rock music.
Spencer wants to attend Clemson University after graduation and major in Soils and Sustainable Crop Systems.
