Adam Gore
State Secretary

Adam is from Loris, S.C. and is a member of the Loris FFA Chapter. He is the son of Deborah Gore and Donnie Gore. He has two brothers, Jason and Walt and a sister, Casey.

He enjoys being a member of FFA because he gets to see a side of life that he would not usually see, and he finds meet so many new people to be amazing. His SAE was turf and lawn management. He feels that his three most important accomplishments were being elected to state office, being named to a state All-Star team in soccer, and being second in his high school's class ranking. Hunter's goal for the S.C. FFA Program is for each member to feel proud of his FFA membership and not see it as just another club with activities. He says,"Instead of being asked if they are in FFA, I want them to stand up and with the upmost pride say, 'Yes, I am a FFA member and it has changed my life.'"

Adam says that the most valuable lesson that he has learned from his Agriculture teacher, Nate Bellamy, is "if it doesn't work the way it seems, fix it or find another way to make it work."

His favorite food is mashed potatoes. The last movie he saw was Cloverfield, but his favorite film is I Am Legend . If you picked up his iPod, you would find it filled with a mixture of country and alternative rock.

He will be a senior at Loris High School this fall. His goal after graduation is to attend Clemson University, majoring in Turfgrass.
