Flint Holbrook
State President

Flint is from Clover, S.C. and is a member of the Clover FFA Chapter. He is the son of Flint and Beverly Holbrook and has one brother, Nathan. He has one pet, Sally.

He enjoys being a member of FFA because of the "amazing opportunities to experience new things," as well as way to better agriculture for the future. His SAE was Agriculture Mechanics Energy Systems. He feels that his most important accomplishments were being elected State President, producing biodiesel, and playing on the State Champion football team. He wants his lasting contribution to the S.C. FFA Program to be showing the public the importance that FFA plays in the state, not just in education, but also in the economy and developing leaders of the future.

Flint says that the most valuable lesson that he has learned from his Agriculture teacher, Carrie Bolin, is to take everything that comes your way and run with it, just to see where it takes you.

His favorite type of food is anything that is cooked on the grill. The last movie that he saw was National Treasurer 2, but his favorite movie is Forrest Gump. If you picked up Flint's iPod, you would find it loaded with country music with a little "high octane" rap thrown in for football games.

Flint wants to attend Clemson University and major in something that pertains to alternative fuels. In the future, he wants to establish a production and research facility for this purpose. It is not surprising that the last book that he read was How To Obtain Large Government Loans For Energy Infrastructure.
