Krista McCuen
State Vice President
Krista is from Graniteville, S.C. and is a member of the Midland Valley FFA Chapter. She is the daughter of William McCuen and Gina McCuen. She has a brother, Austin and two sisters, Mandy and Nicole. She also has a dog named Lexii.
She enjoys being a member of FFA because of the friends she makes, her future and the fact that she always has a great time. Her SAE was the the writing of a newsletter and remodeling a house. She feels that her most important accomplishments were becoming a state officer, being a member of the Beta Club, and being listed on the Principal's Honor Roll for five years. She wants her lasting contribution to the S.C. FFA program to be a great year while she serves as vice-president.
Krista says that the most valuable lesson that she has learned from her Agriculture teacher, Jeremy Brooks, is to take life as it comes, and let no one or thing mess up your plans.
Her favorite type of food is chicken. The last movie that she saw was Stomp the Yard and her favorite movie was Saw. If you picked up her iPod, you would find it filled with all kinds of music. The last book that she read was The Great Gatsby.
Krista plans to attend Clemson University. She is aspiring to be a zoologist.
