Lena Freeman
State Vice President

Lena is from Union, S.C. and is a member of the Union FFA Chapter. She is the daughter of Steve and Patsy and has a sister, Amanda and a brother, Josh. She has numerous pets, including cows, chickens, dogs, and cats.

She enjoys being a member of FFA because of all the opportunity to be around people that share the same interests. Her SAE was the Beef Cattle Industry. She feels that her proudest moment was being accepted to attend Clemson University. Lena wants her lasting contribution to the S.C. FFA Program to be having an outstanding image as a SC FFA state officer.

Lena says that the most valuable lesson that she has learned from her Agriculture teachers, Annette Vaughan and Cleveland Jackson, was "that you have to work hard to get something, but in the end you won't regret doing it."

Her favorite type of food is chicken strips. The last movie that she saw was Chuck & Larry , but her all-time favorite is The Notebook. If you picked up her iPod, you would find it filled primarily country music. The last book that he read was Me & You.

Lena's future plan is to attend Clemson University with a major in Animal and Veterinary Science with an emphasis in Agribusiness. She would like to work for the USDA and farm.
