Michael Trent Rushton
State President

Trent is from Salley, S.C. and is a member of the Wagener- Salley FFA Chapter. He is the son of Michael and Carolyn Rushton and has one sister, Kaylee. His favorite pets are his coonhounds and squirrel dogs.

He enjoys being a member of the FFA because it constantly offers ways to learn new things, makes you fall in love with agriculture, teaches you to enjoy life and is a blast. He wants his lasting contribution on the SCFFA program to be making a positive difference, caring for everyone, and making the organization even better.

Outside of his FFA activities, Trent enjoys duck hunting, rabbit hunting, and fishing. He also enjoys eating catfish stew. If you snagged his iPod, you would find it loaded with the music of Eric Church, Luke Bryan, George Strait, and Conway Twitty. The last movie that Trent saw was "Rock of Ages", but his all-time favorite film is "A Beautiful Mind." The last book he read was The Harvest.

The most important lessons that he has learned is that "a life lived for God is the only way to happiness and fullness." He feels that his most important accomplishments in FFA were being elected the SC FFA President, winning the Lower State Region Individual Award, and owning a successful business.

Wish Trent a "Happy Birthday" on November 22nd!
