Dylan Way
State Vice President
Dylan is from Surfside Beach, S.C. and is a member of the Socastee FFA Chapter. He is the son of Peggy and Mike Way and has a sister, Stacy. He has a pet cat.
He enjoys being an FFA member because he enjoys being outdoors and being involved in agriculture where he can be hands on and constantly see progress. He wants his lasting contribution to the SC FFA to be motivating kids with a non-agricultural background to join FFA.
Outside of FFA, Dylan enjoys turkey hunting, shooting, or going out on his boat. You will find his iPod loaded with country and modern rock music, especially the music of Steve Earle and Brantley Gilbert. His favorite food is "hot wings." The last book that he read was The Old Man and The Boy. The last movie that he saw was "Stepbrother", but his all-time favorite is "The Perfect Storm."
The most valuable lesson that he has learned is if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Dylan feels that his most important accomplishments are becoming a state officer, going to college, and working on the head boat during the summers.
