Jason Gore
State Vice President
Jason is from Loris, S.C. and is a member of the Loris FFA Chapter. He is the son of Donald and Deborah Gore and has a brother, Adam and a sister, Casey. He also has a dog, Blackie.
He enjoys being a member of FFA because he loves representing his chapter and state at competitions and conventions. His SAE was Lawn and Turf Management. He feels that his three most important accomplishments were winning the state soils CDE, attending the FFA National Convention for the first time in 2003, and being elected State FFA Vice-President. He wants his lasting contribution to the S.C. FFA Program to be making South Carolina a more nationally recognized state.
Jason says that the most valuable lesson that he has learned from his Agriculture teacher, Ben Hardee, is that your goals, no matter how small, are worth working toward.
His favorite food is steak. The last movie that he saw was The Longest Yard, but his all-time favorite is The Silence of the Lambs . If you picked up his iPod, you would find it filled with country music. The last book that he read was Mike Schlappi's Bulletproof Principles for Personal Success.
Jason has one final year of high school before applying to Clemson University's Agricultural Education program. His goal is to teach Ag Ed in South Carolina.
