Shane Grice
State Vice President

Shane is from Warrenville, S.C. and is a member of the Midland Valley High FFA Chapter. He is the son of Connie Grice and has three sisters, Ashley, Krystal, and Michelle. He also has two dogs - Fred and Charlotte.

He enjoys being a member of FFA because it provides him with opportunities to lead. His SAE's were Landscaping and Produce Management. He feels that his three most important accomplishments were earning the Dekalb Award, attending the Commissioner's School of Agriculture, and being elected State FFA Vice-President. Shane's goal for the S.C. FFA Program is to give all that he can possibly give to influence the program in a positive manner.

Shane says that the most valuable lesson that he has learned from his Agriculture teacher, Jeremy Brooks, is always to your best and never give up.

His favorite food is ice cream. The last movie that he saw was Land of the Dead , but his all-time favorite is Dances With Wolves . If you picked up his iPod, you would find it filled with rock and country music. The last book that he read was Shakepeare's Hamlet.

Shane will attend Aiken Technical College before applying to Clemson University's Agricultural Education program. His goal is to teach Ag Ed in South Carolina.
