Stephen Tyner
State President

Stephen is from Chesterfield, S.C. and is a member of the McBee FFA Chapter. He is the son of Dale and Tammy Walters and has two brothers, Dustin and Kipp.

He enjoys being a member of FFA because of the people that he gets to meet and the opportunities that are available to FFA members. He feels that his three most important accomplishments were earning his FFA State Degree, being elected as the State FFA President, and receiving the James F. Byrnes Scholarship. He wants his lasting contribution to the S.C. FFA Program to be inspiring members to pursue their dreams.

Stephen says that the most valuable lesson that he has learned from his Agriculture teacher, Pat Earle, is to set your goals and strive to complete them.

His favorite food is steak, and the last movie that he saw was Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The last book that he read was The DaVinci Code.

Majoring in Biosystems Engineering at Clemson University this fall, he will be found hitting the textbooks!
